Preterm Birth
Premature birth is the condition in which the birth occurs before the actual gestation age. In humans
the normal gestation period is 36 weeks, but in some cases the birth occurs before this period.
Premature gestation leads to premature infants. These babies have many long-term and short-term
complications, including organ systems and limbs developed underneath, etc. A journal is a periodic
publication designed to advance science further, usually by reporting on new research. While some
of the oldest
journals publish
articles , reviews, editorials, short correspondence, letters, and
scientific papers in a broad variety of scientific fields, most
journals are highly specialized. Journals
contain
articles reviewed by peers in an attempt to ensure that
articles meet the quality and
scientific validity standards of the journal.
