Polymer Chemistry Scientific Journals
Polymer chemists are researching large, complex
molecules (polymers) formed by several smaller (sometimes repeating) units. They analyze how the smaller building blocks (monomers) combine and produce functional products with different characteristics by modifying the molecular structure of the monomers/polymers used, the composition of the combinations of monomers/polymers, and the chemical and process applications. Polymer chemists are unique in the chemical world as their understanding of the relationship between structure and property extends from molecular to macroscopic.
