Pharmacochemistry Importance

 Pharmacochemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry deals with the design, discovery, development and both pharmacological and analytical characterization of drug substances.  Pharmacochemistry is also a stimulating field as it associates many scientific disciplines and permits the relationship with other scientists in researching new drugs and developing new drugs. The Medicinal chemists relate their chemistry classes to the process of developing new pharmaceuticals. They also progress the processes by which prevailing pharmaceuticals are prepared. Chemists are concentrated on drug discovery and development and are concerned with the separation of medicinal agents found in plants, as well as the formation of novel artificial or synthetic drug compounds. Mostly the chemists work with a group of scientists from various disciplines, including toxicologists, biologists, pharmacologists, theoretical chemists, biopharmacists and microbiologists.
