Peptide

A peptide is a small, amino acid chain. The amino acids in a peptide are bound by bonds, called peptide bonds, in a series. Peptides are usually differentiated from proteins by their shorter length, but the number of amino acids cut-off to classify a peptide and protein can be arbitrary. The peptides are smaller protein variants. Many health and beauty products contain different peptides for many applications, such as their possible properties for anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, or muscle building.
