Peer-review Journals On Echocardiography

Echocardiography or echo, is a painless test that creates moving images of your heart using sound waves. The images show the heart size and shape. They also show how well the chambers and valves in the heart function. Echo can also identify areas of heart muscle that do not contract well due to poor blood flow or heart attack injury. An echo type called Doppler ultrasound shows how well the blood flows through chambers and valves in your heart. Echo can detect possible blood clots inside the heart, pericardium fluid buildup and aorta problems. The aorta is the principal artery that carries blood rich in oxygen from your heart to your body.
