Open Access Articles On Pharmacokinetics

Pharmacokinetics is known as the time study for absorption , distribution , metabolism and excretion of medicinal products. The application of Pharmacokinetic concepts to the safe and efficient management of drugs in a single patient is clinical pharmacokinetics. Main objectives in clinical pharmacokinetics are to improve patient drug treatment effectiveness and decrease toxicity. The emergence of clear linkages between medication concentrations and their pharmacological responses has made it possible for pharmacokinetics to be applied to specific patient circumstances. Changes in clinical dose-dependent parameters (dose-dependent kinetics) within the prescribed clinical dosage range are of particular interest. Other details that include, where necessary, the impact of demographic characteristics such as age sex and ethnicity, the impact of other disease states, the influence of external factors such as food or certain drugs (drug pharmacokinetics), drug binding to biological components such as plasma proteins and RBC, studies conducted in different patient populations and studies conducted under conditions. Open access to scientific literature means removing barriers (including price barriers) to access to scholarly work.
