Microbiology Research Articles
Microbiology is a study of microorganisms, or microbes, which has various group of generally minute, simple life-forms that consist of bacteria, archaea, algae, fungi, protozoa, and viruses. The field cares with the structure, function, and classification of such organisms and with ways of both exploiting and controlling their activities.
Microbiology essentially began with the event of the microscope. Although others may have seen microbes before him, it had been Antonie van Leeuwenhoek, a Dutch draper whose hobby was lens grinding and making microscopes. A research article may be a primary source that is, it reports the methods and results of an ingenious study performed by the authors.
