Medical Science Research Articles

Medical research or biomedical research, also referred to as experimental medicine, encompasses a good array of research, extending from "basic research" also called bench science or bench research ,involving fundamental scientific principles which will apply to a preclinical understanding – to clinical research, which involves studies of individuals who could also be subjects in clinical trials. Within this spectrum is applied research, or translational research, conducted to expand knowledge within the field of drugs .Both clinical and preclinical research phases exist within the pharmaceutical industry's drug development pipelines, where the clinical phase is denoted by the term clinical test. However, only a part of the clinical or preclinical research is oriented towards a selected pharmaceutical purpose. the necessity for fundamental and mechanism-based understanding, diagnostics, medical devices, and non-pharmaceutical therapies means pharmaceutical research is merely a little a part of medical research. The increased longevity of humans over the past century are often significantly attributed to advances resulting from medical research. Among the main benefits of medical research are vaccines for measles and polio, insulin treatment for diabetes, classes of antibiotics for treating a number of maladies, medication for top vital sign , improved treatments for AIDS, statins and other treatments for atherosclerosis, new surgical techniques like microsurgery, and increasingly successful treatments for cancer. New, beneficial tests and coverings are expected as a results of the Human Genome Project.
