Macrophomina Phaseolina

 "Macrophomina phaseolina is a pathogenic fungus of the Botryosphaeriaceae plant that causes damping, seedling blight, rot of the collar, stem rot, rot of the charcoal, rot of the basal stem and root rot of many plant species. Macrophomina phaseolina is one of the most dangerous seed and soil borne pathogens, a fungus that infects nearly 500 plant species in over 100 families. Among other hosts are: peanut, cabbage, pepper, chickpea, soybean , sunflower, sweet potato, alfalfa, sesame, potato, sorghum, wheat , and corn."
