Information technology has virtually unlimited potentials for variety of useful applications in libraries as it significantly contributes to the improved quality, increased productivity, more efficient operations, better resource sharing and more effective services to the users. The proper exploitation of new technologies in library is no longer a matter of survival in an era of rapidly changing technology and global knowledge society. Today the success of modern library is increasingly dependent on the most effective utilization and strategic management of new technologies in libraries.
