Geomorphology-articles
Geomorphology is that the study of the alteration, formation, and configuration of the topographical features of the Earth's surface. Geomorphologists seek to grasp why landscapes look the way they are doing, to grasp landform
history and dynamics and to predict changes through a mixture of field observations, physical experiments and numerical modeling. Geomorphologists work within disciplines like physiography, geology, geodesy, engineering geology, archaeology, climatology and geotechnical engineering. Layer is modified by a mixture of surface processes that shape landscapes, and geologic processes that cause tectonic uplift and subsidence, and shape the
coastal geography. Surface processes comprise the action of water, wind, ice, fire, and living things on the surface of the world, together with chemical reactions that form soils and alter material properties.
