Geology-

Geology is that the study of the world, the materials of which it's made, the structure of these materials, and therefore the processes acting upon them. It includes the study of organisms that have inhabited our planet. a crucial a part of geology is that the study of how Earth's materials, structures, processes and organisms have changed over time. Geologists work to know the history of our planet. The higher they will understand Earth’s history, the higher they will foresee how events and processes of the past might influence the longer term. Here are some examples Many processes like landslides, earthquakes, floods, and volcanic eruptions are often hazardous to people. Geologists work to know these processes tolerably to avoid building important structures where they could be damaged. If geologists can prepare maps of areas that have flooded within the past, they will prepare maps of areas which may be flooded within the future. These maps are often wont to guide the event of communities and determine where flood protection or flood insurance is required. People use Earth materials a day. They use oil that's produced from wells, metals that are produced from mines and water that has been drawn from streams or from underground. Geologists conduct studies that locate rocks that contain important metals, plan the mines that produce them and therefore the methods wont to remove the metals from the rocks. They are doing similar work to locate and produce oil, gas, and groundwater.42. Geology-innovations
