Fish Biology-Articles-open-access
Fish is aquatic animal with skull, gills and digitless limbs. They’re separated into four groups: chondrichthian (such as sharks and rays), bony fish, agnathan, and hag. Living in water presents variety of issues like maintaining salt concentrations and neutral buoyancy and this cluster of animals has evolved variety of the way to traumatize these problems.
Fish were the primary vertebrate animals to evolve and have since given rise to any or all the vertebrate animals found in water and toward land. Fossils of fish are dated back to the Cambrian around 530 million years ago throughout a time once the variety on Earth was rummaging an enormous explosion. Currently, there are a unit over thirty thousand
species found round the world with the most important diversity found in coral reefs within the world’s tropical regions.
Sharks are the ultimate predators of the oceans and have developed many adaptations to help them hunt, reproduce and survive in their marine environment. Sharks have a skeleton made from cartilage rather than bone.
Eels are fish with elongated, slender bodies. Around 800
species of eels are found all around the world. They have interesting life cycles and complete immense migrations between the freshwater and the oceans.
