 Echocardiography is a journal that is published eight times a year and includes descriptive, current research on different diagnostic ultrasound applications and other associated techniques. It includes non-English literature case reports, panel discussions, bibliographic reviews, news items and abstracts. Additionally, after proper peer review, it considers original papers for publication.   These include three-dimensional echocardiography, methods for evaluating cardiac mechanics and interventional applications by strain and strain rate. The journal welcomes original investigations, reviews articles, case reports, editor's letters, editorials, and cardiovascular ultrasound images, which the editorial board will revise.
