Cytotoxicity Journals

Cytototoxicity is a compound’s property that causes toxicity to the cells. Cytotoxic compounds are mainly responsible for carcinogenic, mutagenic and teratogenic exposure effects. Cytotoxic compounds affect calls, preventing cell growth and cell division by causing uncontrolled cell death. Exposure to cells of cytotoxic compounds leads to nuclear and cytoplasm necrosis of cells and the loss of member integrity. To avoid uncontrolled cancer cell proliferation, the potential of cytotoxic compounds can be used to avoid cell division.
