Climatic Changes

Climate change is a change in weather pattern and related changes occurring over time scales of decades or longer in oceans, land surfaces and ice sheets. Environment is the atmospheric state — its temperature , humidity, wind, rainfall, etc.—over hours to weeks. Climate change is the global climate transformation phenomenon characterized by changes in the planet's usual climate (in terms of temperature, precipitation and wind), which are caused in particular by human activities. Improvements in energy efficiency and vehicle fuel economy, increased wind and solar energy, biofuels from organic waste, carbon pricing and forest protection are all powerful ways of reducing the amount of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gasses on the planet.
