Cell Cycle Impact Factor

Cell cycle or cell division leading to the production of 2 daughter cells in its duplication. Cells in the body alternately divide (mitosis) and "appear" to be resting (interphase) during the development from stem cell to fully differentiated cells. A series of events that cells undergo is called the cycle of cells. Cell cycle control requires certain processes which are essential for the cell 's survival. These processes include detecting and repairing genetic damage, and also stopping the uncontrolled division of cells. The activities of the cell cycle are strongly ordered, and cannot be reversed. In culture, the cancer cells replicate fairly quickly. The length of time these cells spend in interphase compare in the Cancer Cell CAM to that for mitosis to occur.
