 Bioinformatics derives knowledge from biological data computer analysis. Collecting, classifying, storing and analyzing biochemical and biological information using computers in particular for molecular genetics and genomics; Bioinformatics is a rapidly evolving branch of biology and is highly interdisciplinary, using informatics, statistics, mathematics, chemistry , biochemistry, physics, and linguistics techniques and concepts. Open access to the scientific literature means removing barriers to accessing scholarly work (including price barriers).
