 The study of space science that applies the laws of physics to the life and death of stars, planets, galaxies and other objects in the universe in the branch of astronomy to ascertain the nature of the astronomical objects, rather than their positions or motions in space is known as Astrophysics. The objects examined are the stars, galaxies, Sun, the interstellar medium, extrasolar planets and the cosmic microwave background. The radiations Emitted from the objects are examined across all parts of the electromagnetic spectrum, including density, temperature, luminosity and chemical composition. Since it is a vast subject, astrophysicists apply concepts and methods from many parts of physics, including electromagnetism, thermodynamics, classical mechanics, statistical mechanics and quantum mechanics.
