Anti-Aging Open Access Articles
The
anti-aging movement is a social movement dedicated to eliminating or reversing growing old, or decreasing the consequences of it. A vast portion of the eye of the motion is on the possibilities for existence extension, however there's also interest in techniques which includes cosmetic surgical procedure which ameliorate the effects of growing older as opposed to delay or defeat it. Two popular proponents of the
anti-aging movement encompass Ray Kurzweil, who says humanity can defeat getting old thru the improvement of technology, and Aubrey De Grey, who says that the human body is a very complicated device and, thus, can be repaired indefinitely. Other scientists and tremendous participants to the motion encompass molecular biologists, geneticists, and biomedical gerontologists consisting of Gary Ruvkun, Cynthia Kenyon, and Arthur D. Levinson. However, figures within the
gerontology network in 2003 attempted to distance their studies from the perceived pseudoscience of the motion. Chemical materials that have been shown to increase durability or retard senescence or some aspects therefore, are broadly believed to do so or are widely promoted as such. Some of those substances are endogenous. The American Academy of
Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) is a United States 501( nonprofit organisation that promotes the field of anti-getting older medicine, and the organization trains and certifies physicians on this specialty.
