Aircraft Navigation

Air navigation basic principles are identical to general navigation, which includes the process of planning, recording, and controlling a craft's movement from one place to another. Successful air navigation involves piloting an aircraft from place to place without getting lost, failing to violate the aviation laws or endangering the safety of those on board or on the ground. There are many ways in which air navigation varies from surface navigation; aircraft fly at extremely high speeds, allowing less time to determine their location on the road. Normally, aircraft cannot pause in the middle of the air to search their location at leisure. Aircraft are safety-limited by the amount of fuel they can carry; a surface vehicle can usually get lost, run out of fuel.
