Advancements-in-ecography
Technology has improved significantly over the last decade because of advances in imaging technology also as
health care reform. These advances improve patient experiences and make diagnoses more accurate, all of which benefit patients affected by various conditions. Keep reading to find out more about the newest in diagnostic imaging. Over the past decade, there are many glorious advancements in ultrasound technology, the bulk of which have made their way into portable ultrasound machines. In fact, the portable versions of ultrasound machines now rival console units in image quality. One advancement that was initially only available in console units is that the inclusion of advanced compound imaging, which occurs when the pictures from the ultrasound are taken from several different directions before being combined into one image. This technology helps to reinforce border differentiation and tissue interfaces.
