Abstract

I am pleased to introduce International Journal of Clinical Rheumatology (IJCR) a rapid peer reviewed Journal which is committed to distribute most elevated quality studies identified with clinical determination and administration of rheumatic ailments through facilitated parts of clinical consideration and clinical examination concentrated on propelling treatment and personal satisfaction for individuals with joint pain, immune system infections, bone issue and related conditions. I am pleased to announce that, all issues of volume 17 were published online well within the time. International Journal of Clinical Rheumatology offers an open access platform to Rheumatology community where, the authors can publish all the reliable sources of information on research findings and current developments as original articles, reviews, case studies, clinical images, short communications, commentaries, etc. and all the published materials will be accessed online all over the world without any subscription fee. The journal gives fundamental perusing to rheumatologists and additionally orthopedic specialists, pharmacologists, pathologists, radiologists, general experts and other wellbeing experts with an enthusiasm for patients with rheumatic maladies. All published articles of this journal are included in the indexing and abstracting coverage of Google Scholar, Scimago, Excerpta Medica (EMBASE), CAS (Chemical Abstracts Service), SHERPA RoMEO, CNKI, Open J Gate. During the calendar year 2021, IJCR received a total of 90 manuscripts, out of which 37 articles (50%) were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format and peer review process. During 2021 around 67 articles were subjected for publication after they are accepted in the peer review process. In the 6 issues of Volume 16 published during the year 2021, a total of 67 articles were published (at an average of 5 articles per issue) of which, articles were published from authors all around the world. Globally articles have been accessed by the research scientists and also cited. During the calendar year 2021, a total of two Editors, Five Reviewers joined the board of International Journal of Clinical Rheumatology and contributed their valuable services towards contribution as well as publication of articles, and their valuable reviewer comments will beneficial to publish quality of article in the Journal. I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of Senior Editor: Furst DE (USA), Associate Editors: Marc JF (France), Adami S (Italy), Emery P (UK) and the Editors: Breedveld FC (Netherlands), Silverman SL (USA), Amin AR (USA), Gheita TA (Egypt) during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by the editorial assistant: Richard Harrison in bringing out issues of IJCR in time. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers (Jesus Maese, Mario Ginja, Mohammed RH, Rajandeep Paik, Shailendra Singh), the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of IJCR, the office bearers for their support in bringing out yet another volume of IJCR and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 17 of International Journal of Clinical Rheumatology in scheduled time.
