Materials are distinguished by component filaments of silk, fleece, linen, yarn, such as imported rayon, nylon, and polyester threads, and certain inorganic filaments, such as gold, glass fiber, and asbestos fabrics. As shown by the manner in which twist and weft cross each other in the loom (see loom; weaving), they are often assigned to their form or weave. For eg, the essence of the rough fiber used and the character of the yarn spun from the filaments, whether spotless, smooth, perfect, or coarse, and whether strong, soft, or medium bent, depend on the value or quality of materials. Additionally, weaving thickness and completion techniques are essential components in determining the quality of the textures.
