Technological Biodiversity And Development Scholarly Peer-review Journal
Although technological advances make agriculture more efficient, those increases are rapidly absorbed by growing populations. The findings show that the increasing world population and the expanding global
economy are everywhere contributing to further land use. This is undermining resources for the biodiversity and habitats.
New technologies allow scientists to estimate the number of unique
species in a community by putting an acoustic detector in conservation areas of interest. Obviously this is only restricted to
species that create auditory sounds but is often used as an index of community biodiversity.
As a result of globalization, other ways in which technology is seen to have a positive impact on society include increased knowledge and understanding, improvements in industry and jobs and interconnectedness of the planet.
