Skin Cancer High Impact Factor Journals

Skin cancer is the out-of-control growth of anomalous cells in the outermost skin layer of the epidermis caused by unrepaired DNA damage that triggers mutation. These mutations lead to rapid multiplication of the skin cells and the formation of malignant tumours. Basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma ( SCC), melanoma, and cell carcinoma (MCC) are the main types of skin cancer. The two main causes of skin cancer are the harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays of the sun and the use of machines for tanning with UV. Skin cancer is the cancer most frequently diagnosed in America today. Each year more than 5 million people are diagnosed with cancer of this type. The most common form of skin cancer is basal-cell carcinoma. More than 4.3 million cases of this kind of nonmelanoma skin cancer are diagnosed each year. A further one million people are diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. Invasive melanoma accounts for just 1% of all cases of skin cancer but it is the most deadly form of skin cancer. At some point during their lives, more than 2 percent of men and women will be diagnosed with melanoma
