The systema lymphaticum is a component of the system , which defends the body against infection. The systema lymphaticum may be a network of small lymph nodes connected by very thin lymph vessels, which branch into every a part of the body except the brain and medulla spinalis . The major nodes are often found within the neck, armpits, chest, abdomen, pelvis and groin. Other parts of the lymphatic system include the spleen, thymus and bone marrow. A clear fluid called lymph flows through the lymph vessels. It contains white blood cells called lymphocytes, special proteins called antibodies, and a few waste products. Lymphocytes and antibodies are important parts of your body's immune system. The lymph fluid passes through the lymph nodes, which filter bacteria and other harmful things. Lymphoma is a disease of a piece of the resistant framework called the lymph framework. There are numerous sorts of lymphoma. One sort is Hodgkin sickness. The rest are called non-Hodgkin lymphomas. Non-Hodgkin lymphomas start when a sort of white platelet, called a T cell or B cell, gets irregular. The cell partitions over and over, making an ever increasing number of anomalous cells. These unusual cells can spread to practically some other piece of the body.
