Rheumatoid Arthritis Journals

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an infectious, chronic condition that may contribute to joint damage and injury in the absence of adequate care. RA forecast may be predicted on the basis of some clinical and laboratory evidence present. New RA classification requirements give earlier care an incentive. Treatment initiation particularly by combining DMARDs concurrent with short corticosteroid duration is expected to prevent progressive progression and even alter the natural course of RA. Currently any patient with clinical synovitis may have definite RA in at least one joint, requiring aggressive treatment. Hydroxychloroquine is considered effective in moderate RA treatment aside from its low toxicity profile.
