Occupational Safety Guidelines
Occupational safety and
health is important for moral, legal, and financial reasons. Employers have a common
law duty to regulate
workplace safety issues like taking care for employees safety, and introducing specific duties and create government bodies with powers. Good
Occupational Safety and
Health practices can also reduce employee injury and illness related costs, including medical care, sick leave and disability benefit costs. The
health and safety indicators for farm activities have been established in Ontario to illustrate unique, distinctive and odd hazards on farms. Representativas of farmers, the Farm Safety Association, the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of
Labor were all prepared. They were prepared together. The purpose of the rules is to help employers, supervisors and farm staff recognize hazards and verify the best way they can live up to their duties under the OHSA and their rules. These rules provide those within the geographical location with general
information in order to help them determine certain hazards and dangerous things. These rules may offer Parties to the geographical point with suggestions to provide for a decisive way of protecting the
health and safety of employees and of preventing injury.
