Obesity Adolescence

 Obesity is denoted by the body mass index. body mass index is the ratio of weight in kilograms to the height in meters square. Adolescents whose body mass index is in the topmost 5% of their age and gender are considered as obese. This means that their BMI is higher than 95% of their landed gentry. Since, 30 years the obesity is common among adolescents. The complications of obesity in adulthood includes type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. Adolescents with weight increase caused by hormonal syndromes are typically short and most frequently have other signs of the underlying disorder. The treatment of adolescent obesity focusses on healthy eating and exercise habits, low calorie intake, establishment of a well-balanced diet, making permanent variations in eating habits and so on.
