A natural disaster is a major adverse event on the earth resulting from natural processes. It can cause loss of life or damage property and typically leaves some economic damage in its wake. An adverse event wont rise to the extent of a disaster if it occurs in a neighborhood without vulnerable population. The causes of natural disasters are many. Human activities play a task within the frequency and severity of disasters. A natural disaster is a disruption in the balance of environment. Natural disaster are divided into four types geophysical earthquakes, landslides, tsunamis and volcanic activity. As per the EM-DAT data from the period between 1994 and 2013, nearly 6,873 naturally has occurred worldwide, which claimed 1.35 million lives or almost 68,000 lives on average each year.
