Marine-enzyme

Marine microbial enzymes have extensive applications in bio industries. Collection of microorganisms for enzyme production at the industrial level needs good yield and high manufacture rate. A number of enzymes such as amylase, caseinase, lipase, gelatinase, and DNases have been exposed from microbes isolated from dangerous marine environments. Such enzymes are thermostable, lenient to a varied range of pH and other harsh conditions required in industrial applications. Novelty in their construction and features has shown promising scope to the researchers in academia and industry. In this chapter, we present a bird's eye view on recent research works in the field of enzyme construction from marine origin as well as their potential biological applications pertinent to human health.
