Lymphoma is
cancer that starts in
infection fighting
cells of the
immune system called as lymphocytes. These
cells are present in the lymph nodes, thymus, bone marrow,
spleen and other parts of the body. lymphocytes change and grows out of the control when the person is affected with lymphoma. Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin are the two main types of
lymphoma and these two types of
lymphoma comprises of different types of lymphocyte cells. Each type of
lymphoma grows at a different rate and responds differently to treatment. This is treatable but the viewpoint can vary dependent on the type of
lymphoma and its stage. The medical professional finds the right treatment and therapy for the different type and stage of Lymphoma.
