A longitudinal method of a resounding depression is a specific standing wave design framed by waves kept in the pit. The longitudinal modes relate to the frequencies of the wave which are strengthened by helpful obstruction after numerous reflections from the depression's reflecting surfaces. Every other frequency are stifled by damaging impedance. A longitudinal mode design has its hubs found pivotally along the length of the pit.
