Lingual Tonsils Open Access Articles

The lingual tonsils are round in the form of the posterior region of the lymphatic tissue in the throat. The lymphoid tissue is present in a complex, nodular squamous epithelium, and serves as a single crypt of a protective layer that divides into monolingual tonsils. It gradually expands to age seven and then shrinks. Respiratory infections are protected by tonsils. Open access to scientific literature means removing barriers to access to scientific research. Open Access also raises policy and practical questions for advertisers, researchers, policymakers and  funders,  including what the return on investment is when paying article processing fees to publish in Open Access articles, or whether to invest in institutional repositories and whether self-archiving must be done as described by some funders .
