Lactic Acid Bacteria Open Access Journals

Lactic acid bacteria ( LAB) are cocci, coccobacilli or rods with a DNA base composition of less than 53 mol percent G+C gram-positive , non-spore forming. All LABs grow anaerobically but unlike most anaerobes, they grow as "aero-tolerant anaerobes" in the presence of O2. They are usually non-breathing, and lack catalase. They primarily ferment glucose to lactic acid, or to lactic acid, CO2 and ethanol. We are one of the leading open access publishers that runs more than 700 peer-reviewed journals. We are moving through the Open Access Program dedicated to contributing honestly and effectively to the scientific community. It follows an open access publishing model that enables research papers to be disseminated to the global community at no cost. Advances in Milk Science is one of the best open access journals worldwide, with a wide range of fields covering milk science, milk processing, milk protein, animal breeding, milk production, UHT processes and biotechnology, milk biochemistry and various types of technological advancement.
