Haemoglobin Journals

Hemoglobin is the protein molecule of red blood cells that transfers oxygen from the lungs to the tissues of the body, and contributes carbon dioxide to the lungs from the tissues. Hemoglobin is composed of four connected protein molecules (globulin chains). The normal molecule for adult hemoglobin (Hbg) contains two chains of alpha-globulin and two chains of beta-globulin. Beta chains are not normal in fetuses and babies, and the molecule of hemoglobin is composed of two alpha chains and two gamma chains. As the infant develops, the gamma chains are slowly replaced by beta chains which shape the structure of the adult hemoglobin. Each globulin chain contains an essential central structure called the heme molecule. Embedded within the heme molecule is iron that is vital to our blood for the transport of oxygen and carbon dioxide. Hemoglobin-containing iron is also responsible for blood red color. It plays an important role in keeping the red blood cells in shape. Scholarly journal is a peer-reviewed journal which publishes scholarships related to a particular academic discipline. Scholarly publications serve as platforms for proposing and discussing new work and denouncing current studies to be scrutinized. Typically, content takes the form of articles that present original research, review articles and book reviews.
