Drug Designing Open Access Journals
Drug design is the innovative method of identifying new pharmaceutical products based on biological target information. Drug design involves, in the most basic sense, the design of
molecules that are complementary in form and charge to the molecular target with which they interact and bind. Drug design frequently but not always relies on computer
simulation techniques and approaches to
bioinformatics in the age of big data. Biopharmaceuticals, apart from small molecules, and especially therapeutic antibodies, are an increasingly important class of
drugs and computational methods to improve the affinity, selectivity and stability of these protein-based therapies. Drug design based on the structure of proteins is fast gaining traction.
