Drug Absorption Case Report
Drug Distribution Case Reports Drug Distribution has meant the reversible amount of drug transferred inside the body from one part to another. When a drug enters systemic circulation by absorption, it is distributed in interstitial and intracellular fluids. The absorption rate is delayed by covering drug particles with wax or other water-insoluble content, by embedding the drug into a matrix that releases it gradually through the GI tract during transit, or by using ion-exchange resins to complex the drug.Drug uptake is determined by the physicochemical properties, formulation, and route of
administration of the drug. Dosage formulations (e.g. tablets, pills, solutions) comprising of the medication and other ingredients are designed to be delivered through various means ( e.g. nasal, buccal, sublingual, rectal, parenteral, topical, inhalational).
