The metabolic syndrome is a cluster of multiple risk factors which deserve more clinical attention for cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Obesity causes and conditions chronic obesity, diabetes obesity, endocrine disorders, obesity and weight loss, puberty to obesity, metabolic syndrome, etc. Central obesity is the excess fat present in the abdomen. A journal is a regular publication intended to advance science further, typically by reporting on new work. While some of the oldest journals publish articles, reviews, editorials, brief correspondence, letters, and research papers in a broad variety of scientific fields, most journals are highly specialized. Journals include papers reviewed by peers in an effort to ensure that papers follow the consistency and scientific validity requirements of the journal.
