Cardiovascular Disease Peer-review Journals
Peer review
journals refer to the work done in the
screening of submitted manuscripts and funding applications. This process encourages authors to achieve accepted standards and reduces the dissemination of inappropriate findings, unwarranted claims, inappropriate interpretations, and personal comments. Academic scholars and professionals believe that publications that have not been subject to peer review.
Cardiovascular disease is a type of disease that involves the heart or blood vessels.
Cardiovascular disease involves coronary arteries (CAD) such as angina and
myocardial infarction (commonly known as heart attack). Atherosclerosis is a condition that develops in the walls of the arteries when a substance called a plaque builds up. This accumulation narrows the arteries, making it difficult for blood to flow through. If a blood clot forms, it can obstruct the flow of blood. This can cause a
heart attack or stroke. Peer review requires a community of experts in a specific (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to conduct the reasonably impartial review.
