Blood Clotting Open Access Journals

Platelets are tiny components that initiate blood clots in the blood. When platelets reach a damaged blood vessel, they become excited and flock to the site. The platelets clump and form a circle, reducing bleeding. Platelets also release substances which begin the formation of blood clot chemical reactions. Most of the heart attacks and strokes result from the sudden formation of a blood clot on a plaque of waxy cholesterol inside a heart or brain artery. If the plaque unexpectedly ruptures, thrombogenic agents are exposed to blood within the plaque, initiating the cycle of blood coagulation. To meet the insistent need of the scientific community, these provide high quality, meticulously reviewed, and rapid publication. These journals are indexed with all of the citations they have noted.
