Biotransformation Scientific Journals
For the drug to be excreted into urine or bile, a process of transformation that is called
biotransformation must take place. This process changes the lipophilic
drugs into a polar, i.e. hydrophilic object and is readily absorbed by the body. Adding functional group in phase 1 that included oxidation, reduction, hydrolysis, etc. Than by undergoing the synthetic phase, i.e. by adding endogenous compounds, which make them absorbed readily. While most of the drug metabolism is performed in the liver, some
tissues have also enzymes in the intestine to undergo the process. Scientific journal is a periodic publication which aims to further advance science, typically by reporting on novel research. Thousands of scientific
journals are in publication, and many more have been published in the past at different points. Although some of the oldest
journals publish
articles and scientific papers across a wide array of scientific fields, most
journals are highly specialized. Scientific
journals contain peer-reviewed
articles to ensure that
articles meet the quality and scientific validity standards of the journal. Publication of research findings is an essential part of the scientific method.
