Biosphere-journals

The biosphere (from the Greek "life" and the Greek "sphere") is the worldwide sum of all ecosystems, also known as the ecosphere (from the Greek word "environment" and from the Greek word for "environment"). It may also be called the Earth's life zone, a closed system (apart from solar and cosmic radiation and heat from the Earth's interior), and largely self-regulating. By the most general concept of biophysiology, the biosphere is the global ecological system that combines all living beings and their relationships, including their interaction with lithosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere components. It is assumed that the biosphere has evolved, starting with a biopoiesis process (life created naturally from non-living matter, such as simple organic compounds) or biogenesis (life created from living matter), at least some 3.5 billion years ago.
