Graduate in Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid (Extraordinary Award and Scholarship for academic excellence from the Community of Madrid).

Doctor of medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid (Excellent cum laude).

Interventional cardiologist trained at the 12 de Octubre University Hospital.

He currently works as an interventional cardiologist at La Paz University Hospital. Master in Current Approach to Structural Heart Diseases (Francisco de Vitoria University).

Master in clinical management, medical and care management (CEU University Cardenal Herrera University).

Training in family heart disease at The Heart Hospital (London).

He has been a professor of statistics and epidemiology at the AMIR Studies Academy and of cardiology at the CTO Studies Academy.

Advanced training in statistics applied to health sciences (Madrid) and distance learning from Harvard University (“Health in numbers: Quantitative Methods in Clinical and Public Health Research”).

Member of the Spanish (SEC) and European societies of cardiology (ESC) and percutaneous interventionism (EAPCI).

Member of the European working group on chronic occlusions (EuroCTO club), myocardial and pericardial pathology, and acute cardiological care of the ESC.

Author of 91 publications in national and international indexed magazines and 191 chapters in books. He has presented 175 scientific communications at international conferences and 260 at national conferences). Director of 3 doctoral theses. Elite Reviewer and member of the Editorial Committee of REC Interventional Cardiology and reviewer of different international scientific journals.

Special interest in complex coronary intervention and structural heart disease in adults.
