Understanding Medical Emergency Management in Dental practice and Drugs box Pharmacology

Abstract

In any given medical setting across the general Dental practice spectrum, there comes a need for the medical care teams concerned to have a full understanding of the regulations, guidance provided by the governing bodies, as well as the legal and ethical constraints associated with managing and administering medicines for dental emergency cases.Dental Care Teams are required to have full understanding and preparedness for any potential emergency cases, this can be a challenging task for the dental care teams concerned with delivering the health care for the patients they look after and provide care for. This presentation has been designed to help these clinicians to understand and effectively manage these cases by following a step-by-step procedures whilst adhering to regulations and guidance available. It is also designed to aid better understanding of emergency drug box pharmacology, the mode of action and its implications in dentistry.

Biography

Mohamed H Rajab Al-Hamadani Completed BDS at the age of 23 years from Baghdad University in Iraq. Worked as a registrar and lecturer in Oral & Maxillofacial Teaching Department in Iraq, before moving to work in Dubai as a GDP .Upon settling in UK, He has then completed all examinations and awarded with LDS. RCS(ENG) and MFDS RCPS (GLASGOW). He has commenced the duties of GDP and as a Dental Tutor for dental students willing to sit accreditation examination.
