Xenobiotic Metabolism High Impact Factor Journals

Drug metabolism, also called xenobiotic metabolism, is the mechanism of more quickly excretable biotransforming less polar compounds into more polar compounds. High-impact journals are those which are considered highly influential in their fields. Journal impact factor provides a quantitative assessment method for the ranking, review, selection, and comparison of related papers. It reflects the average number of citations to recent articles published in science and social science journals in a given year or period, and is often used as a proxy for a journal's relative importance within its field. It is first devised by the Institute for Scientific Information founder, Eugene Garfield. A journal's impact factor is calculated by splitting the number of current year citations into the source items that were published in that journal during the previous two years.
