Weed Management Impact Factor

 Conventional weed control systems in Zea mays L. Provide close control of all weeds. From September 2011 to January 2012, a field experiment was conducted at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University's Wetland farm, Coimbatore to study pre- and post-plant herbicide weed management in transplanted rice. In a factorial randomized block configuration, the experiment was laid out with three replications and two variables, viz. Application of preplant herbicides (with and without glyphosate at 0.75 kg a.i ha-1) and pre-emergence / early post-emergence herbicide treatments.
