An herb is a component of a plant or plant used for its aroma, taste, or therapeutic properties. One type of dietary supplement is herbal medicine. Some herbs can cause serious harm, for example comfrey and ephedra. Some herbs may interact with over-the-counter or prescription medicines. If you are considering using a herbal remedy, get information about it from reputable sources first. Be sure to tell your health care provider about any herbal medicinal products you take. Journal article is often referred to as a science paper, a peer-reviewed paper, or a scholarly research article. Journal articles are often referred to together as The Literature in a given field. Many often journal publications are primary research papers. They may also be Review Articles, however. These kinds of articles have different purposes and demands. Often, a new tool or approach is defined in an article.
