medical science with medical imagery is radiology. It may use x-ray devices or other other radiation devices. This also uses radiation-free methods including RIM and ultrasound. Radiology, as a medical field, can refer to two subfields:
radiology diagnosing and
radiology therapy.
Radiology for diagnostics includes using a variety of imaging techniques to help diagnose diseases.
Radiology diagnostics can be further broken down into various sub-specialty fields. In order to guidance minimally invasive operation, interventional radiology, a sub-species area uses imagery methods of diagnostic radiology. The use of radiation to treat diseases such as
cancer by a treatment called radiation treatment is therapeutic or, as radiation
oncology is currently known.
